Great book! I loved the Ballroom and Dude Ranch Chapters! They take place in Michigan. In fact, I might try to do some of the activities that were offered at the dude ranch at my business – Warstler Farm (also in Michigan). Usually I don’t like books that take place during World War II, but this book had just enough war parts mixed with back home in Michigan parts. Reading this book was a wonderful distraction from the corona virus. It was the perfect book to read while sitting next to the fireplace during the cold Michigan winter.
