I love the undated aspect of this devotional book. It feels welcoming, less like an obligation and more like a treasury of inspiration to dip into as needed. Esther’s beautiful words remind us of simple, solid truths about our God, our faith, and ourselves. If you’ve ever needed a quick pick-me-up from a trusted friend, you need this book.

  2. Deb Allard

This meaty devotional contains Scriptural truths applied in practical ways to everyday life. It reminds me of a layman’s version of the Oswald Chambers devotional, “My Utmost for His Highness” which I read many many times and cherished. Esther Lovejoy, though, has a loving, sweet, sincere, and down-to-earth way of showing us the truths, characteristics, and attributes of God in everyday language, so that we can understand and apply what we’ve learned to our life circumstances. I love Big Steps, Little Steps and hope that Mrs. Lovejoy writes many more.

You don’t often hear facts and faith talked about in the same sentence. Esther Lovejoy in Big Steps Little Steps gives us a fresh view of Scripture, we often overlook!
Big Steps Little Steps is the needed ammunition we need for facing today’s world that likes to spin out of control much too often!
Whether you are facing health concerns, family issues, or just need an inspiring word after listening to the news, Big Steps Little Steps is packed full of truth and inspiration for you.
I love what Esther said, “God’s word is the basis for your faith—not the facts of the situation.” This is so true!

I received a copy of Big Steps Little Steps for my honest review.
