Liisa Eyerly is the author of the historical mystery novel Obedient unto Death, the first book in an upcoming series featuring a reluctant sleuth Sabina, who discovers her God-given talent for solving murders. Her stories unite her love of mystery novels with a thirst for studying the Bible, Christian philosophy, history, and ancient cultures.

She graduated from Montana State University-Billings with a BS in education and an MS degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She worked as a teacher and school media specialist before retiring. After resurrecting her writing career, she delved into the world of the first century, tumbling down endless rabbit holes of research and resurfacing days later with delightful treasures that influence her stories.

Liisa and her husband, John Eyerly, reside in northern Wisconsin, have three children, two grandchildren, and a border terrier who is the definition of tenacity. She has been trying to restart her stained-glass hobby for the last twenty years but ends up sidetracked by tennis, pickleball, and travel, including a Mediterranean tour of all things ancient.
