Kathy Nickerson is an author, speaker, and eternal optimist who has been living happily-ever-after with her country doctor husband for more than forty years. They are the parents of four children who grew up to become their best friends and who have given them fourteen grandchildren, so far.
Kathy’s eternal optimism comes from her mother, the Nicest Woman on Earth, and from a deep faith in the God who made Light to shine from darkness. She writes about the struggles of life from a perspective of one who believes that all things will ultimately work together for good for those who love God.
Her writing credits include magazines such as Discipleship Journal, Angels on Earth, Focus on the Family, Proto, and Kyria.com. Several of her stories have appeared in collected works by Bethany House and Guideposts Books. Her books include Thirty Days to Glory (Oct. 2013), The Secret of Serendipity (March 2016) for middle-grade readers, and Rose Hill Cottage, releasing July 2016.
Kathy writes weekly columns for two local newspapers and a church paper. She also blogs about faith, family, friends and fun. In 2014, her e-newsletter focuses on “How to Have a Happy Life.” Readers can sign up for free at www.kathynick.com.
