As I write this, summer is in full swing with backyard parties, camping trips and lazy afternoons. Soon, cooler temps will replace the dog days of July and August. For most people, the time marks the start of football season, the return to school and cold weather comfort foods. But at CrossRiver, it means more great releases, just in time for the holiday season.

First up on this fall’s calendar is Postmark from the Past, the story of Emily Patterson who is happy with her quiet life in West Texas. She owns the same house she grew up in, has a great job, and good friends. Then a red envelope appears in her mailbox with no return address. The enclosed love letter from a man named Mark, carries a 20 year old postmark. Is someone playing a cruel joke on her? Or will she find love after so many years of being alone?

Then there is the Deer Run Trilogy, which includes the books, Road to Deer Run, Promise of Deer Run and Legacy of Deer Run. The stories follow an colonial family during and immediately following the American Revolution. The first book, Road to Deer Run follows Mary Thomsen, a young woman from Massachusetts, as her life intersects with British soldier Daniel Lowe, a wounded prisoner of war in a strange land. They are enemies, brought together by need. Will their differences overshadow the yearnings of their hearts? Or will bitterness of war keep them apart?

Also be on the lookout for some great releases after the first of the year. Rose Hill Cottage continues the popular Glory Circle Sisters story. And our newest devotional/Bible study, Unbeaten will challenge how you look at the trials life brings us and offer insight as to how you can emerge from those trials Unbeaten.

If you have any questions about the books you see listed in this catalog, be sure to give us a call. We’d love to visit with you. In the meantime, enjoy the cooler weather and the opportunity to watch God’s creation in all its glory.

In Him,

Tamara Clymer
