CrossRiver Authors Garner 2016 Book Awards
The ballots have been cast and the winners announced. And so it’s time for us to shout a big *Congratulations!* to our 2016 award-winning authors.
Two of our authors became award winners this year.
Nancy Kay Grace, author of *The Grace Impact*, won the 2016 Next Generation Indie Book of the Year Award for Christian nonfiction; an Honorable Mention in the Eric Hoffer Awards in the spiritual category, and was a finalist in the da Vinci Eye Award for cover design (congratulations Jackie Dix for that awesome cover).
Catherine Ulrich Brakefield, author of *Wilted Dandelions*, earned the 2016 CSPA (Christian Small Publisher Association) Book of the Year in historical fiction, made the short list for the Eric Hoffer Award, and an Honorable Mention Eric Hoffer Award in general fiction.
We’re pleased with all our authors, not just those who win awards. Of course, we’re thrilled when we hear news like this about our authors’ books and believe it is evidence of the quality books we endeavor to publish.
Of the 26 books we’ve published since our inception in 2010, 6 of those books have earned 9 awards. Our previous award winners are:
Toby Holsinger, *This I Know: Devotions for Teens*, won 2014 CSPA Book of the Year in its category (her debut book).
Linnette Mullin, *Finding Beth*, winner of the 2014 Selah Award and 2014 Grace Award (her debut novel).
Kathy Nickerson, *Thirty Days to Glory*, 2014 CSPA Book of the Year in its category (her debut novel).
Elaine Marie Cooper, *Bethany’s Calendar*, winner of the 2015 Selah Award.
As the years progress and the industry changes, we’ll continue to stand by our commitment to provide quality books that ignite a woman’s relationship with God and inspire her to lead a life that honors Him.
Again, congratulations to Nancy Kay Grace and Catherine Ulrich Brakefield for their 2016 book awards.
